The Flight C IMP League had a very successful year. There were a total of 7 teams; each team had 6 members. Players came from Surrey, White Rock, Maple Ridge and Vancouver. Some of the players never participated in a team game before and others had little experience. McBruce adopted the players’ suggestions and modified the team format. A total of 6 teams played in a round-robin on a given Sunday, with a bye team sitting out. There were special speakers who gave a mini-lesson prior to the match. Also, each team had a coach who volunteered their time to support their assigned team throughout the season. A big hand went to Kathy Bye, Vicki Moffatt, Kai Zhou, John DeMeulemeeste, Samantha Nystrom, Garry Skoropada, and “moi”-Eurydice. The final play-off was held on May 27. The Champion is
Team 1- Sharon Main (Team Captain), Leatha Dudra, Terie Grad, Debbie Martignago, Barbara Forfellow and Scott Shi. Congratulation!

The Monthly Unit Game (MUG) is sponsored by your Unit, which is held at the Vancouver Bridge Centre on the first Saturday of the month, at 7pm. We will be offering a separate IN section for the NLM to compete among your peers.
The Rocket Rookie Trophy Race
To encourage the Non-Life-Masters to participate in all the Unit sponsored games, eg Future Star, Sectional etc., we have initiated a new trophy. Players must play with a partner who has less than 300 MP. His/her score will be tabulated at the end of the year. The Rocket Rookie Trophy will be presented by the Unit Board to the highest score winner.
