The Vancouver Regional runs from April 2 to April 8, 2018.

Many tournaments have not yet published their flyer but this will change as we get further into 2018.

The Whistler Regional Tournament is starting on Monday October 30.

If you are driving to Whistler, please note that winter tires are mandatory on Hwy 99 (Sea-to-Sky) between October 1 and March 31. The official definition of winter tires in BC includes those with a M+S designation (check for imprint on sidewall). Full information is available in this BC government document.

The 2017 Victoria Regional will be held from April 17 to 23 at the downtown Conference Centre, adjoining the Empress Hotel.

Starting April 17, this website will feature a Victoria Tournament Page with access to scores, daily bulletins and photos.

The Tournament will also feature a comprehensive educational program, with an emphasis on enriching the tournament experience for bridge players who are “New to Duplicate”. hoping these players will find that tournaments are an exciting educational opportunity as well as a competitive adventure.

The Whistler Regional Tournament is only two months away.

It will be hosted at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler from November 7 to 13.

Please note that daily bulletins will be published starting Wednesday, August 24.

The Kirkwood Trophy is awarded by District 19 each year to the resident of District 19 who wins the most masterpoints.

Only open Regionals in Washington State and British Columbia are counted, and like other masterpoint races one must be an ACBL member to qualify.

Standings are calculated at the conclusion of each Regional and placed in the Wrapup edition, as well as in the first Bulletin of the next Regional.

The current list reflects the standing after June’s Penticton Regional. It can be found under District MP Races in the side menu or accessed directly by clicking here.

The month of June is a busy one for D19 with two regional tournaments:

First the Penticton Regional (“Canada’s Largest & Most Enjoyable Regional”), which starts on June 13 and runs through June 19.

Then, on the following week, June 20-26) the Midnight Sun Regional in Anchorage.
